The one with the gymnasts

Brooklyn and Troy have been in gymnastics again (well, this is Troy's first time), and loving it! They ask me virtually every day if they have gymnastics that day. We have just been enrolling them at the community center, and I must say, the classes have been great! They adore their coach, and I adore them getting all their pent-up energy out. And Savannah really enjoys watching all the crazy kids. It's a win-win all around. :)

"Mom, take a picture!"

beginning of backward roll...

and the end.

This girl can hula-hoop! Seriously, not that I'm any good, but she's way better than I am!

Troy wanted me to take a picture of his "cool" pose. lol

The one with the 9 month old

Say what?!! Yup, Savannah is a big 9 month old! It's hard for me to believe that she has been part of our family for as long as I was pregnant with her. She has definitely made our family more complete! Savannah continues to steal the hearts of many, including her big sister and brother, and of course her Mommy and Daddy. She has all of us wrapped around her little finger. And honestly, everywhere we go, she flirts and smiles at anyone who notices her. I am constantly getting comments such as,"Wow, what a happy baby!" Savannah had her 9 month well-check at the Dr this past Wednesday. I went in to her appointment knowing that she had a cold, but didn't really think it was a big deal since she hadn't really shown any discomfort (other than the night before she had a hard time getting to sleep). Well, this kid had a double ear infection!! The poor thing! The Dr. said they were actually pretty bad too. My point is, this just proves, yet again, how mild-tempered and mellow she is. However, that being said, she is starting to get a tad feisty. I knew it was only a matter of time. :) She can scream and squeal with the best of them! She is very close to crawling (but we are NOT pushing her!), she LOVES food, has started waving buh-bye to everyone (even objects haha), says Mama and Mom (which always catches me of guard, umm hello, you're a baby call me Mama or Mommy!!), has 4 bottom teeth, loves to dance...to anything! Including songs the kids will sing, and loves to clap. She adores her little leap-frog picnic basket, and is starting to really adore her babies. And she shows them love by eating their faces. Savannah also loves to "sing" in Sacrament meeting, and will grab hold of the hymn book the second we enter the pew. And when we start to sing, she does her own version of singing, "Ahhhyayayaya." It's definitely her favorite part of church, and admittedly, mine as well. Another little thing she has been doing lately is shaking her head back and forth when we say "no,no,no." We can already tell discipline is something she laughs at! We love our sweet Savannah!!

The one with the tea party

Our dear friend Brittany is pregnant with her 3rd baby, and we just HAD to celebrate it!! A few of us threw her a tea party baby shower and we had such a blast! Brittany is one of those friends who will do anything for you (I should know, she came over in the middle of the night when I went into labor with Savannah, even after just taking Nyquil because she was so sick!!). Anyway, we are so thankful for her and her friendship and I am so thankful she left all her family in Utah to come live here by me! :) hehehe

The one with the tiny dancer

Yes, we are awesome parents, and this is what our 9 month old dances to. We like to start them young with questionable music. But she sure knows how to shake it!

One of these days I'll get pictures uploaded too and not just video. But video's are so much more fun, don't you think?!

The one where Brooklyn wants to be a boy

Tonight we got to go watch my amazing neice swim in Federal Way (about 45 min. south of Seattle). She is shooting for the Olympic trials, and is SOO close to qualifying! We have been able to watch her swim a few times here in the past 6 years we have lived here, and it amazes me every time how fast she is. Not only is she a super fast swimmer, but she is beautiful, sweet, intelligent, very musically inclined, and the biggest sweetheart!! She is just one of the amazing neices (and nephews) we have.

Anyway, on our drive home tonight, Brooklyn was asking how our tithing gets to Heavenly Father. She said, "I wish I could be with the guy when he gives our money to Heavenly Father and Jesus." How sweet is that?! Well, it didn't stop there...I explained to her that they don't literally give it to Heavenly Father, but that they give it to our church and it shows our Faith in Him. She replied, "So it makes Him really happy and makes Him smile big?" Me-"Yup, it makes Him super happy and He smiles bigger than anyone!" She thought about this for a couple minutes, then said,"Mom, if I were a boy, I would want to be Heavenly Father or Jesus so I could have a big mouth." Haha Aww, out of the mouth of babes! What a special little girl we have.

Then she talked about how big They are, and Troy said, "I want to be as big as Heavenly Father and Jesus!" Such sweet kids. What did we ever do without them?!

The one with the faker

Savannah has discovered a fake laugh the past couple weeks. She is constantly making us laugh. This little girl is a budding comdian I tell ya! The video is a little long, and may make you a little sea-sick, but worth it to hear all her cuteness. :) Oh, and Troy had to get in on the action too. Funny boy.

And here's a video with her real laugh. :)
