It's tough being this cute.

Kristen just posted a few more pictures of Troy's 6 month session. Check them out! We LOVE our photographer! She's so awesome, and about to have a baby any day! Anyway, check them out.

"Awly, Awly!!"

Taken this morning, in order of appearance...
They look pleasant right?
"Brooklyn don't touch me!!""No, Troy, MINE!" Classic picture of Troy sucking in his bottom lip. Poor little Brooklyn suffered her first "heart-break" this weekend. One of my favorite sisters (Holly, one of my 6 sisters!) came into town to watch her amazingly talented daughter (Taryn) swim in Sectionals. Brooklyn was hooked the minute she spotted Holly sleeping in her room. We had such a great time laughing, entertaining screaming kids at the pool, kissing a "pig", eating yummy cobbler, gyros, and plenty of samples. I'm an idiot and didn't take ANY pictures!! Holly did fortunately, I'm just waiting to get them (hint, hint!). Brooklyn was so sad when we dropped Holly (Awly) at the airport. She cried and cried! The next morning, she kept looking around for Holly and saying, "Awly, go with Awly! Awly in showee? Awly showee?" And proceeded to knock on the bathroom door thinking Holly was in there. Poor thing. She misses her new favorite aunt!! So now if you want "favorite aunt" status, you'd better come visit!! :) Holly even gave Brooklyn her first hair-cut. She now has bangs!! OK, she really didn't cut that much, just a few strands, but still, it's a first. Taryn did so GREAT in all of her races. Now she just has to decide where she wants to go swim...BSU v. BYU? Both are great schools (although Erik would beg to differ).

Troy had his 6 month appointment this week, even though he's really 7 months. His weight gain is slowing a bit, but still weighed in at a whopping 19 lbs 5 oz (50-75%). He is 27 1/4 in (50-75%). Not really big, but still quite a bit bigger than Brooklyn was. He's catching up fast! Troy is such a tough kid already too, he didn't even cry when he got his shots! Daddy was proud. He's sitting up really well still, but still isn't crawling (thank heavens!) or rolling from his back to his tummy. It's gonna get crazy once he learns to crawl.

Brooklyn and Troy are definitely getting the sibling rivalry down-pat early on. Don't even DARE take anything from Troy. It's to the point now when Brooklyn tries to take something from him, it becomes a pulling match. That kid has a good grip and strong arm! He's pulled Brooklyn over a couple times. They already scream and yell at each other. We think it's still pretty funny, but I'm sure the humor will dissipate quickly. Brooklyn's new favorite word is "ya." She picked this up Sunday. That girl has quite the vocabulary now! A lot of the times I can't understand a word she's saying, but it's fun to hear and see her jabber on and on. Like her Mommy I guess!

St. Patrick's Day was always a fun holiday in our home growing up. My mom always made us green food to celebrate the day. So, in honor of her, I made green food for dinner! It doesn't look too appetizing, but it tasted yummy! I made green angel hair Alfredo with chicken (I didn't have any fettuccine), green marbled french bread rolls, and broccoli. And of course for dessert, cookies with green frosting. Yum! I meant to dye our milk too, but forgot. Fun times! Thanks mom for always making even the boring holidays fun!

Our Beautiful Kids!

Brooklyn just looked too cute not to capture on film the other night. Our Baby girl is growing too quickly!

Here are a few shots of troy trying to gather as many toys as he can before his big sister comes and snatches them out of his hand. He definitely has the role of victim down pat though. He always cries as loud as possible and looks up at momma as if to say "aren't you going to do anything."

The new 'doo

Got my hair cut a couple weeks ago. It's a little drastic (for me), but I'm liking it, especially the low maintenance part of it. And the other day I looked at Brooklyn and she had stuck all her shapes down the front of her jammies. So I had to document it. She's a funny girl. She LOVES sticking things in our "pockets." (a pocket can just be down your shirt, robe, ect.)
