We took Brooklyn to the Tulip Festival this weekend. She couldn't get enough of the flowers! Literally, she wanted to eat them. : ) So here are some pictures we took. She didn't fall asleep in the daffodils, she just had her eyes closed. She also likes to give a cheesy grin now. We're still trying to get used to our new camera, but we sure like it! Enjoy!

How cute is that?! What a bunch of pretty girls. :-) Oh, and Eric looks nice, too.
That looks SO pretty! And thanks for the info. I actually hadn't heard that, and Marlee never did this so it was helpful. How you feeling?
Fun! I have always wanted to go to the Tullip Festival, I am excited to hear what happens there.
You know...I've always felt dumb calling it the Tulip "Festival". The only thing we do when we go up there is visit the fields of flowers and take photos. They have a salmon bake somewhere, but other than that, I'm not real clear on any other festivities. But it makes for good photos of Marcie and Brooklyn.

Oh my gosh! Those pictures are precious!! I love tulips!
Okay, I love those pictures! It is so pretty! I can't imagine being surrounded by thousands of beautiful flowers like those. How fun!
That's cool that that you guys got the XTI. It's a great camera! I would totally recommend buying this lense (we bought ours from Amazon, my fav):
http://www.amazon.com/Canon-50mm-1-8-Camera-Lens/dp/B00007E7JU/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1208487781&sr=8-1
It is only $80. There are over 500 reviews giving it a 4 1/2 star rating. This is the 2nd lens that we bought and it is my favorite! It's awesome for indoor shots because it has an F-stop of 1.8 so you can take better pictures with low lighting. I would totally recommend it over the $300 version. We're not cheap when it comes to things like this but the $80 version works awesome! I love it! Not to mention it's not over the top to buy since photography is an expensive hobby...
Darling. I tried making a comment earlier, but my password was messed up. Hopefully, it is working this time. Love the blog!!

Marcie... so glad you found me. I love your blog and what a beautiful little girl you have. It's nice to know of other mothers pregnant while they still have babies. I am a little sad that I won't get to enjoy Bree's toddlerhood more completely but I am glad they will be close together.
Hey there... love the photos! Brooklyn is growing up way too fast. She is beautiful. Did you notice the bow in Tommy's pic. Yep...thanks mama Marty. Oh, and the bracelet. She had that on for I think all the pics that day. Not so happy at her first photo shoot. I love the vase one though. I'm probably the meanest mom ever:) Are you excited for Hawaii? Yippee!
love-
