Money, money, money, money!!! Moooo-ney!

My good friend Stephanie and I had a garage sale this past weekend. It was my first one EVER, so of course I had to document it. I know, there must be so much exciting stuff going on in our lives to have to blog about a garage sale right? Well, we had fun. And even made a little moolah! Yipee!!

The AMAZING items! We had tons more in the garage. Don't hate me because I'm beautiful. :)Aw, brother and sisterly love. I told them to act like they loved each other. lol Ella was our little sales-woman. It's in her blood!What Hyrum did most of the garage sale. Baby-sat my kids! Thanks again Hyrum! Brooklyn LOVES playing in Ella's room. Much to Ella's dismay. :) She's a good sport about it."What Mom? You don't want me taking out ALL the puzzle pieces in the middle of the garage?""Look Mom, a rock!!""Hmm, I wonder what this tastes like...""Mmm, yummy!!!"

"Swing, swing, swing, swing, everybody's gotta swing!"

Brooklyn LOVES to swing. We go to the park and all her friends will be playing on the slides, in the bark, etc, but she wants to SWING! So we got her a swing. But she didn't want to SHARE "her" swing with her brother, so we got him a swing too. I know, kind of a boring post, but I needed to post something. The kids especially like it when Daddy plays "gauntlet" with them. It's especially hilarious of course, when he gets hit.

More fun in the sun

I am anticipating this title to be one of many this summer! We have been enjoying our almost record stretch of no rain here in Seattle these past few weeks. Seriously, summer is the BEST here! Not too hot, but cool enough where you don't really need AC. It's perfect!!!

And here's a little video of one of Troy's new "words." (even though this is a couple weeks old). I still need to get him saying "dog-dog" on camera. We think he's pretty smart for an almost 10 month old! Now if he would just walk. Lol

Bring on the hot weather!

Hot for Seattle that is...95 degrees baby! So, we hit the beach with playgroup and had a great time. Brooklyn had no fear and practically dove into the lake. Troy enjoyed the view from the stroller and my arms (I'm a mean mom and didn't want to have two sandy children, so he stayed nice and clean!). I personally enjoyed the long naps both kids took when we got home! Oh, and the beach was really fun too.
